This July, our team had the opportunity to participate in the AFRICHEM Expo Kenya & Eastern Africa Edition, the region’s leading international trade fair for chemical products and technologies. Hosted at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, the event brought together manufacturers, distributors, and industry professionals from across Eastern and Central Africa, creating a dynamic environment for innovation, networking, and business growth .

A Diverse Exhibition Landscape

Although AFRICHEM Expo is known for its strong focus on chemical technologies, this year’s edition was co‑located with the AFMASS Trade Expo, attracting a wide range of exhibitors from the food and beverage, packaging, logistics, machinery, and coatings sectors . The food industry, in particular, had a significant presence, with many booths showcasing processing equipment, packaging solutions, and supply‑chain innovations.

This cross‑industry setup created a vibrant atmosphere and allowed us to interact with businesses beyond the traditional coatings and chemical space.

Our Presence at the Coatings Segment

Despite the event’s strong food‑industry turnout, the coatings segment remained an important part of the expo’s structure, supported by the Africa Coatings Expo—one of the constituent events under AFRICHEM . Our booth attracted a steady number of visitors interested in coatings solutions, raw materials, and application technologies. We engaged with manufacturers, distributors, and technical professionals seeking reliable partners in the coatings supply chain.
